Medprimo Ltd. was founded in 1996 by private individuals. In 2006, ten years after the founding the firm was reorganized. Focusing on renewable energy has become our main activity, construction and sale of renewable energy systems. This change was a milestone in the history of the company. The last four years proved that we had made good decision choosing the path of alternative energy. Energy, including renewable energy is going to be a deciding factor of our economy and society in the next decades.
Our business covers many types of renewable energy technologies. We started our activities with the distribution and installation of flat and vacuum tube solar panels and systems. We distribute flat solar collectors in standardized production developed and licensed in Hungary, which are in accordance with the highest level of expectations of today’s mandatory standards, at the same time they are inexpensive and their service life (up to 30 years) surpass all previous ones.
As we had gained more and more experience so we got to know new alternative solutions. So besides selling solar collectors now we deal with distribution and installation of solar cells, wind turbines and geothermal heat pump systems.
Since 2009 autumn infrared panels and infrared foils have been added to our list of products which are new energy-efficient and healthy heating technology.
Infrared panel (MED-Panel)
Thanks to today’s modern technology infrared panel heating (MED-Panel) can give you exceptional level of comfort having all the indispensable features of a modern heating system. Due to its modernity and energy-efficiency this new and high level heating system is getting more and more popular. While other heating systems having the same comfort has a large space requirement, but regarding to infrared heating system this problem doesn’t exist.
The main difference between MED-Panels and traditionally electric heating appliances lies in that the latter does not have a filament. The active layer of the panel is a semiconductor heating element which makes its lifetime almost never-ending.
Due to the wide power variety of the panels the customization of the spaces to be heated can be carried out without difficulty. They are available in various types of power, so thanks to that practically there is no space to be heated, which cannot be perfectly heated and correctly customized. Owing to the programmable thermostats they can operate with 40-60-80% power so more energy can be saved with the precise timing of operation.
The infrared heating does not heat the air, but the people and objects which creates a comfortable sensible heat. If the thermometer shows 18 degrees Celsius, 22 degrees Celsius can be felt. Convectors, radiators heat the air which absconds simply if the room is not well-insulated, the energy is wasted.
One of the misbelieves concerning infrared heating is that it cannot provide constant warmth. This statement is not true, because the infrared heating only needs to be operated at the exact place where you stay as the power of every panel can be regulated by the programmable thermostats. Panels of 350-500W power do not need to operate by 100% like constantly working electric radiators of 1500-200W, so this way significant amount of energy can be saved.
The MED-Panels are used in:
- residential buildings: ideal heating for houses made of wood, log, or brick. Also perfect solution for drying houses made of brick and concrete.
- light-frame buildings: local or full heating of manufacturing halls, warehouses, sport halls and offices.
- facilities – like office, restroom, reception, store – constructed in container buildings offering low-cost, reliable and efficient heating.
- caravans, auto caravans and weekend houses for the most convenient heating.
- modern infrasaunas for the constant sensible heat.
- health: arthritis, sciatica, treatment of myositis and tendonitis, heating of incubators, healing of surgical scars
The MED-Panels are usually located on the ceiling, so they are not ‘in the way’. The panel can also be placed behind the mirror therefore it provides adequate sensible heat completely invisible. This is the only electric heating which can be installed on combustible surfaces (ex. baseboards). Other types from our selection can be covered by plasterboard or placed into boarded ceiling and we have a standard out of wall style as well. Thanks to our successful experiment we have been able to design high-quality infrared panels broadening the usual offer.
